Mission

Missoula Elite Lacrosse strives to cultivate young minds and bodies by developing and maintaining youth lacrosse in Missoula. We will provide an organized and safe environment that promotes healthy attitudes towards the individual, teammates and competition.  We encourage learning in a supportive environment where individual effort is affirmed and mistakes are recognized as the foundation of mastery. We believe that winning is important, but consider the opportunity to teach life lessons and for everyone to play higher priorities. We teach players to “Honor the Game” by respecting the rules, opponents, officials, teammates and themselves. We adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the national governing body, USLacrosse.  We expect players to make lacrosse a priority and give their full effort in both practices and games.

Registration

Registration opens January 1st for the 2010 spring season.  This season players can register online, check our registration page for prices and options.  There are several scholarships available for our programs provided by Missoula Athletic Council and Sentinel Kiwanis.  Please contact us at info@missoulaelite.com for information on scholarships or other questions about registering.

Player Information

Practices start in March, with games beginning in April.  More specific information on practices and games will become available once the schedules have been determined in January. No prior experience is required to play lacrosse. However, lacrosse is a contact sport and requires the following equipment:

• Helmet*
• Gloves*
• Elbow pads
• Shoulder pads
  
• Athletic protector cup
• Lacrosse stick
