Men’s Varsity Head Coach
Kevin Flynn
grew up in Hinsdale, IL, and has been playing lacrosse for 10 years. He was a two time All-Conference selection in high school before moving to Missoula to play collegiately for the Griz. At Montana, Flynn was named Team President and Team Captain for 3 seasons. He was a two time All-Conference defender in college and helped lead the Griz to the 2007 MCLA D2 National Championship. Coach Flynn also spent two years on the sidelines coaching for Montana, compiling a 22-6 overall record and one conference championship. Flynn was named the PNCLL’s Coach of the Year in 2005. He graduated from The University of Montana with a degree in Native American Studies. Coach Flynn is a founder and coach for Northstars Selects Lacrosse, which exposes high school players in non-traditional lacrosse areas to the college recruitment process. He has been serving the Missoula lacrosse community for 7 years and is one of the founders of Missoula Elite Lacrosse. This will be his second year on the sidelines of the Men’s Varsity team.
Men’s Varsity Assistant Coach
James Pyke
grew up in Hanover, New Hampshire and moved to Montana in 2004. He has played lacrosse for 13 years, and coached for the last three years. He played at Kimball Union Academy before coming to the University of Montana. Coach Pyke played one season with the Griz team before leaving to start high school lacrosse in Missoula. He was an All-Conference player in high school and college. Coach Pyke is also an outdoor enthusiast, who hikes and skis whenever possible. This winter he will be working as a patroller at Snowbowl and a guide at Altoona Ridge Lodge. As much as he likes winter, Coach Pyke is excited to start the 2010 season. This will be his second season coaching the Missoula Elite Varsity squad.
Men’s Junior Varsity Head Coach
John Callon
moved to Montana in 2006 from Oakland, CA. He has played lacrosse for 9 years. Coach Callon played both high school football and lacrosse for Bishop O’Dowd in CA. He is currently attending The University of Montana to study Wildlife Biology. Coach Callon also enjoys backpacking, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and snowboarding. In addition to coaching for MEL he also works at the Outdoor Program at UM and teaches snowboarding at Snowbowl. Coach Callon joined the MEL staff this past summer and he is excited to start the season and can’t wait to begin working with all of our new players.
Women’s Varsity Head Coach
Lindsey Fahy
was born and raised in New York City. Her passion for sports and lacrosse started at an early age, and she played lacrosse and field hockey through boarding school at St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont. Coach Fahy continued her lacrosse career at Lynchburg College in Virginia and later at The University of Montana. Some of her passions are the great outdoors, fly-fishing, skiing, and studying English literature. This will be Coach Fahy’s second year coaching the Missoula Elite Women’s Lacrosse team.

Women’s Varsity Assistant Coach
Lindsey Bona
was born and raised in Northern Vermont. She moved to Missoula in 2002 and attended The University of Montana, where she graduated with a degree in Forest Management. Coach Bona grew up playing many sports, mainly, basketball, soccer, track, and softball. She started her lacrosse career as a freshman in high school and it became an instant passion, as it required speed, intensity, and finesse. In her free time, Coach Bona enjoys skiing, hiking, floating, and spending time with her dog Fern. Getting the opportunity to introduce new players to the sport of lacrosse has been very rewarding and she is looking forward to working with the girls this season. This will be Coach Bona’s second year coaching the Missoula Elite Women’s Lacrosse team.
