In 2011, the Missoula 5/6 team was the Montana State Champion, defeating Whitefish in the semifinals and Bozeman in the finals of the Montana Championships to claim the crown. Because of the change in age groupings pursuant to the new US Lacrosse Youth Rules, which are now in effect in 2012, most of the 2011 5/6 team will be on the 2012 U13 team.
